The Fastest Gumball Machine

"I want the world's fastest gumball machine, and it has to have a Ferrari."

That was the single-line brief from the client. The World's Fastest Gumball Machine was the centerpiece attraction at the Sweet! Hollywood candy store on Hollywood and Highland. Gumballs were dispensed from the tailpipe of a real Ferrari Modena 360, and players would then race the gumball through more than 700 feet of overhead track, using an arcade steering wheel and shift lever to hit cues that boosted the gumball’s speed. At the end of the race the players would receive their gumball to keep (or eat).
